Huntsville, Ala.-
With a bank of windows in his kitchen and a big picture window fronting the living room of Joe King’s 1,046-square-foot bungalow just off University Drive in Huntsville, Ala., the home is full of light. The house is now also full of warmth since professionals working with the non-profit Nexus Energy organization have zipped up all the other places where light – and cold air – were leaking into the rooms.
The home is one of seven owned by people in need in the Huntsville area that have been weatherized through the Nexus Comfort Project since 2013.
