Our dream and passion here at Nexus Energy Center has always been to help others as much as we can to have as many opportunities to live a happier and more comfortable life as possible. In order to do that we have been extremely focused on ensuring a green future for our community because we understand how important smart and sustainable energy is and how much of a difference it can make to our lives.

This is why we started The Comfort Project, which our idea of a long-term solution that provides elderly residents and the underserved community with the opportunity to incorporate energy efficiency upgrades in their homes. We have seen the results and are indeed amazing! Imagine that you can have lower utility bills as much as 25%. By saving on their utility expenses, residents can put that money toward other necessities such as medicine and food.

This year was incredible, we saw so many faces light up and smile when everything was done and they knew that they can finally live comfortably in their own house without having to worry all the time about the expenses on the electricity or heating. We can’t wait to help even more people in need! All we want to do is to give back to those who may not be able to afford the luxury of being warm and cool in their own homes.

Our project is strictly funded through grants, donations, and philanthropic efforts. That makes our job sometimes hard to complete. Thus, not so many people get the benefits of a fully functioning, healthy home environment, which kind to the world and to their wallet.
